Safe Business Solutions was engaged on contract to provide HSE support on the $7.8B Victorian Desal Project. Scope included the $1.3B balance of plant / pre-treatment works interfacing with a total workforce of 800 people. SBS personnel lead a team of 11 safety advisors in civil, mechanical & electrical disciplines. responsible for implementing whole-of-site safety systems.
In 2011 Safe Business Solutions commenced a 7 year relationship with East Coast Pipeline to develop, implement, maintain and certify an Integrated Management System for the business to enable ECP to successfully complete the APLNG Gathering Works project for Origin Energy. SBS personnel developed and established leadership programs for all levels of the managerial staff, increased the collaborative approach to health and safety with all interested parties and assisted development of leading edge mobile applications to assist with compliance and real time reporting via mobile and tablet communications.
During this time SBS personnel also supported other business units with in the ECP Group.
Safe business Solutions was engaged as part of the Owners Team for Central Petroleum's Mereenie Gas Facility Upgrade Project in remote Northern Territory. SBS provided the Construction Safety Manager to develop and implement the project safety system for CTP and its contractor work-force. The construction project involved the installation of two new inlet separators for the central treatment plant, the restaging of the existing Field Boost Compressors, the installation of a new Field Boost Compressor, the refurbishment and restart of Plant 3 liquids recovery plant, and upgrades to the control system.
SBS were further engaged in the new PV13 Well pipeline installation project on completion of the Mereenie Upgrade.
Safe business Solutions was engaged as part of the former BGC Contracting HSEQ team on the WADC Expansion project in the Pilbara region. Scope of works included building concrete foundations for the new iron ore facilities (16km overland conveyor), in addition to utilities infrastructure as well as bulk earthworks construction of heavy and light vehicle road networks connecting the existing processing plant to the two new ore deposits being developed. The project had a peak workforce in excess of 550 personnel all engaged on different employment arrangements and requiring a common safety culture implementation.
Safe Business Solutions personnel were engaged into the HSE team for the NRW Contracting Eliwana Rail Construction project undertaken for Fortescue Metals Group. Scope of works included the construction of a 65-kilometre rail formation which involved earthworks, road works, drainage works as well as construction of bridges and precast structures. The project supported a work force of 400+.
RSA Contractors engaged Safe Business Solutions to provide the project safety manager on Project Seadragon in the Northern Territory. Scope of work included the development and implementation of project specific HSE plans to support the early works of the PSD bulk earthworks on stage 1 of the 3,500 acre prawn farm.
